Our annual golf trip took us to Arizona this year, and the We-Ko-Pa Cholla golf course was the best that we played. The entire experience was first rate.
We arrived and got the standard bag drop hospitality, and our clubs were ready to go after we checked in at the golf shop. The practice range is very close to the...

I recently played here for three days, played both courses, and as always it was a great experience. The course is always in perfect playing condition, the staff is always plentiful and top notch in all areas. The thing that sets this apart from any course in the country, and i mean any, is that is is simply Awesome in...

Been playing these coursed for several years now, not only the best in AZ but some of the finest desert golf you will find anywhere in the world. These are not typical AZ courses with houses lining every hole; they are out in the foothills on the reservation and the setting is absolutely stunning. The course designs are tough, making...

Played the Cholla course on Monday 3/26. Everything about this place is first class. The course is in pristine condition. The employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The practice area is great. We loved everything about this course, especially that it has many tee boxes to make it playable for all levels of golfers.
My dad and I played...

Having played several other nice courses in the Phoenix area, we still maintain that the most beautiful, serene experience can be found at either one of the two We Ko Pa courses. Scenery, course layout and pristine conditions all make one feel as though you were in another part of the world. Nature at it's finest!

When I first played the Cholla course at WeKoPa several years ago, i thought it was the best maintained course I have ever played. It is still one of the best. Very fair for even the average golfer with large, fast greens. The Saguaro course isn't as "lush" but still extermely playable. If you're a diehard, try them both in...

A bit of a drive but well, worth it. There are many desert courses built within communities . Not here. You play through natural desert. Very friendly to women golfers. No long carries on drives and approaches.

We've played both courses now and like Cholla a little better but both courses are one heck of a lot of fun to play. Neither is suitable for a high handicapper. Both demand ball control and a lot of patience with your game.
If you're playing for the first time, make sure to bring your camera. There's a lot of...

Challenging track with bunkers everywhere, particularly in the middle of the fairway. Greens are spectacular, fast but true. Well maintained with a helpful staff.
