The perfect place to stop and take a dive when you are going around the island. It is the only public beach in the island, bu still it was completely empty when we stopped by.

Stayed at the Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana resort, and walked across the street to this beach a couple times during our stay to watch the sunset. The beach is on the west-side of the point, making for ideal sunset watching. Appeared to be frequented by many locals. Clean, very fine sand - overall a nice beach if you don't...

Go there for the 2nd time after our little daughter went to sleep, i think is one of the best beach in the world
We went for the sunset on our last night. It was gorgeous. I wish we had gone during the day for a swim. There were several couples taking pictures of the scenery.

Our resort was next to Matira Beach and we got to enjoy several sunsets from there. The beach was nothing special in my opinion as the beach at our resort (Le Moana) was just as nice and not as crowded. The sunsets are spectacular and cannot be missed from Matira Beach. Since it's the only public beach on the island,...
