Plus side: information about medieval society and cool and very well preserved tools, jewels, doctor's kit etc. You get to see the mechanism behind the statues movement in the clock tower. Interior restored and pleasent atmosphere. Minus side: no photos allowed inside the museum (just at the top, outside)

The museum is lovely. Lots of tiny rooms with creaky floors & low doors full of interesting exhibits. The star of the Clock Tower is the Clock Room. You can see the mechanism & the wooden figures which pop out at various times. The view from the top is excellent.

Great views of town but makes you feel dizzy! You can walk all the way around the top and it's very old and creaky but interesting.

Amazing clock works and figures with a mini museum on each floor. We happened to visit during the week after Easter which is when Romanian children take field trips so...we were a little distracted by rambunctious children and brooding and/or giggling teens. Otherwise a marvelous thing to see.

The floors creak, the stairs are narrow, it can get crowded, but there's lots to see and a good view. Even with vertigo I was able to walk around the tower outside as the balcony/balustrade is quite high and you can't see down (unless you go to the edge) only across, so I felt (reasonably) OK up there.

The clock tower provides a great view of Sighisoara and and the countryside. The clock tower is in good condition considering its age. The walk up the stairs can be challenging if one is not in good shape.

loved the view from the top of the hill and felt like I had stepped back into time. Enjoyed the hike from our hotel to the clock tower.

The Clock Tower is a must visit in Sighisoara. It was built in the second half of the 14th century and expanded to 64m height in the 16th century. Unfortunately the staff is not friendly and we found out that although we paid for both attractions (Clock Tower and Torture Museum) the Torture Museum is closed until April / May.

I have visited Sighisoara on a couple of different occasions. The Clock Tower is absolutely amazing, while you're walking up the tower you can take a look at the museum collection that is on display in the various rooms and when you reach the top you have the best panoramic view of the Castle and it's ruins as well as... This is well worth the trip up. The tower is surprisingly high, and the little museum on the way up is a nice treat.
