Didn't think much to this beach, not particularly clean or beautiful though if you like shopping there is plenty of beach front shops and cafes. Sadly like other tourist spots, plenty of rubbish lying around especially on road down to beach. Better to walk around past the Lighthouse and find the little cove which is far more beautiful and secluded. More

A nice crescent of sand but quite busy when we were there. All the restaurants around the beach seem to be overpriced for Kerala in general. For those of you who like a beer or two beware it's not easy to buy alcohol, many restaurants don't have a licence. They don't call it the dry state because of the rainfall!! More
