The wine tasting was $5 per person and that was applied to a bottle of wine if you bought one after the tasting. They let you taste everything they have! They also give pairing suggestions.

This is a wonderful place to visit while you are in Homer. Spectacular views from here and very nice staff. The owners are friendly and work very hard on this place. The wine is ok (what we expected for a small winery in Alaska). A very fun place to hang out and have a glass of wine and look at... More

I absolutely love Bear Creek wines, and was thrilled to finally make it to the winery! It is amazing! - definitely worth a stop if you can make it happen while visiting Homer. The staff there are very friendly and are willing to help you in any way they can. I wasn't able to do a wine tasting event, but... More

This is a lovely find. My husband and I stayed at this well-cared-for property for three days after the rates had dropped for the winter off-season October through April. We will be going back in the spring for sure. There are two well-appointed themed cabins on the landscaped grounds, we stayed in the "Cowboy Cabin". Our cabin was perfectly clean,... More

The time I went there were very few other people there. We had a delicious selection of wines. The location was beautiful and intimate. I loved the crackers and smoked salmon to nibble on. Fun people serving the wine and cool to learn about this local business.

I am definitely not a "wine snob" but adding berries to what otherwise might be a reasonable wine results in a watery, sweet drink similar to spiked kool-Aid. They also offer a B&B, which they call a "Bed & Booze." Cute, but overrated and not a good value given the other accommodations available in Homer. They offer a "free" bottle... More

yummy wines, generous samples (and free!), very friendly staff, adorable place. We bought wine to take with us and will order wine to have shipped home, it was that good.

Bear Creek Winery is top notch for Alaskan wine and great tasting experience. They use Alaskan berries to create their delicious wines. After the tasting you will leave wanting them all! One of my personal favorites is their Blueberry Mirlo.
