A very easy excursion through some nice rainforest to see the waterfalls. I would highly recommend hiring a car for a few days to get to some of these wonderful sites off the beaten track. More

There are three falls - one (the biggest I think) is a 5 minute walk from the car park and the other two about 10-15 minutes but all are worth seing - obviously they may not be as impressive in the dry season but as they are only a 5 minute drive from the main road it's a wothwhile detour... More

It's a short hike to the waterfalls on a good path. Very beautiful scenery. The falls are fantastic, can't get the whole thing in one shot! Watch out for mosquitoes - there are alot. More

This place is amazing. Even if you don't or can't actually take the 30 minute walk to the waterfall, there is a beautiful easy walk through the bamboo and moss encompassed rainforest. Rocky streams and nature at its most impressive. If a tour bus arrives and you have time, wait for them to finish then explore yourself. More

We had a guided tour of the island and one of the stops was the Fautaua waterfall. Tucked away inland it is a fantastic site and great to see. Well worth a visit! More
