I attended the school for one month in January while vacationing in Manuel Antonio. It is an excellent program and I found the teachers and staff to be very competent in the classroom and always caring about the students. Formal classes were 4 hours daily followed by a one-hour conversation class where students could practice using what they had learned.... More

These guys have got it right. Highly trained instructors very patiently resurrected my old language skills to the point that a month later I was helping sell real estate by translating for buyers and sellers! The program works obviously! The staff are such wonderful, kind, and patient people with a real passion for Spanish Education and Costa Rica! I look... More

My son and fellow high school classmates spent 2 weeks here - what an incredible experience! The teachers and owner (David) made sure each was in the appropriate class for their knowledge of the language. Group activities were fun and very well planned out - nice additions to the classroom experience. The "host family" he stayed with encouraged him to... More

FIrst, attend a class, or two before you pay anything. Go to the conversation class too. If you like it, pay the big bucks for the shortest period you can, knowing there is no refund if it turns south on you. Some teachers are great. Beginners, be careful. You might be immersed with the teacher and no one else. That... More

I attended Adademia de Espanol D'Amore as part of my Mexico/Central American Spanish Immersion trip. I took a week of Spanish Language courses in MX, Guatemala and Nicaragua before getting to Manuel Antonio. I enrolled in the private 1/2 day lessons and I have to say it was the best week of learning that I had. There is a personal... More

The staff, teachers and administrators for this school are very vested in your success. They have a real passion for teaching you how to speak spanish correctly. The school is wonderfully situated in Manuel Antonio overlooking the ocean. The class sizes are managed so that you can get one-on-one attention. If you are looking for a spanish language school in... More

I had a fine education, thanks to the fine teaching of Kaellen, but I warn you that you will be encouraged to pay without seeing how the class functions first. If you pay and do not like the class you are SOL. No refund will be given. If you are the only beginning student, a four-hour class is hard to... More
