We went on 2 great tours with Manuel Antonio expeditions- the national park tour with Edgar and the Damas Island mangrove boat tour with Paul. “Michael is the best guide!”

On reading others' reviews of Michael and his telescope I think I'm in the right place. He was the best tour guide and worth every penny of the nominal $45/person that was charged. Paul was a great guide on our tour of the mangroves. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Costa Rican ecosystem -- you can tell how much he loves it all. We really enjoyed our guided tour! Our tour guide, Pablo was a very fun, energetic and knowledgeable. He was also very patient in ensuring that the whole group got to see all the different animals! our great guide Paul helped us out a lot and we saw a TON of animals (white faced monkeys, squirrel monkeys, pit nosed viper, raccoons, toucans, frogs, ants, etc.) the beach was AMAZING! More

“Hire a Guide!”

Without Michael our amazing guide, we would have seen nothing at the park! He was able to spot sleeping sloths, pre-historic lizards, exotic birds, and colorful Iguanas from far away. He'd then set up his telescope and give us all a close up look at Costa Rica's fascinating wildlife. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend! More
