The tour was nice. Our guide was very knowledgable about the area. At the take off point the kids got to meet an orphan baby sloth! The beach for snorkeling was beautiful and had very few people on it. We had ages 9 to 48 and had no trouble with the kayaks at all. We were treated to a CR... More

Our family had an awesome day trip on horseback. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Costa Rica and all of the plants and animals. Our horses were very easy to ride...they knew when to stop and even when to gallop! I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful Costa Rican rainforest. Oh...the... More

Rancho Los Tucanes is the best! Our guides were Johan and Ivan (the Terrible). They made our trip SO much fun with their professional experience, fun personalities, and wealth of knowledge, not only about the river, but the local flora and fauna. The drive up to where we put in on the Savegre River was so much fun due to... More

I highly recommend Rancho Los Tucanes for white water rafting in Costa Rica. They are located near Manuel Antonio National Park. They are very attentive and pay much attention to safety. A member of their staff kayaks along side the rafts to ensure the safety of everyone aboard. They even included a very good lunch after the outing. The staff... More

My boyfriend and I ended up on private tour with our lovely guide Nancy. Before we even entered the Manuel Antonio National Park our driver stopped twice for us to see a sleeping sloth and a whole troop of squirrel monkeys. It was such an incredible experience and I highly recommend the tour to anyone traveling within Costa Rica. It... More

Kayaking through the Mangrove was incredible. If you want to see the native wildlife without the crowds of the National Park, this is the tour to do. Our guide, Ismael, was extremely knowledgeabel and made the trip fun as well as informative. The post kayak meal was delicious too!

Our tour ended up just being my husband and I. My husband is a huge birder so we still wanted to go on this tour. We were taken to Carara National Park to see the Scarlet Macaw. However, when the guide realized that my husband was a birder, he made sure we went looking for birds..and we found A LOT... More

Trekking up the rainforest on calm, well trained horses. Fantastic, great guide, saw loads of birds including the toucans. And the guide identified every noise we heard around us, from birds to frogs and cicadas. The guide has trained the horses to respond to his whistle so you have very little to do but enjoy the ride. Well worth it.

We enjoyed a full day trip of whitewater rafting. We went in March so the water was very low and probably rated at a 2. It was our first time so learning on in this scenario was fine. More importantly our guide (Jorgi?) was very knowledgable and gave us quite the lesson on the way to the river. Very interesting... More
