We got a great tour of this little place, with a guy (Arnold) whose English was great. We learned a lot. A little pricey - $22 for two of us.

We had a very personalized tour. We were given a tour of the breeding areas, main show area, and also where they keep the newly born snakes. Their main viewing area has approximately 50 different snakes, crocs, etc. We were also able to see them feed their big cats a live meal (not for the faint at heart). We really...

I went there with a friend, and we had a nice time there. They have a fairly sized collection of snakes, mostly from Costa Rica, with a friendly tour guide who can conduct the tour in both Spanish and English. They also have a fairly nice view of the surroundings.

I visited World of Snakes a couple of years ago and intend to go back in May 2008!
It is a really cool place where you can hold a couple of species of snakes, and see lots of others. It is also a breeding project for snakes, which is in keeping with much of Costa Rica's "eco" approach.
