We had a very personalized tour. We were given a tour of the breeding areas, main show area, and also where they keep the newly born snakes. I went there with a friend, and we had a nice time there. They have a fairly sized collection of snakes, mostly from Costa Rica, with a friendly tour guide who can conduct the tour in both Spanish and English. They also have a fairly nice view of the surroundings.

I visited World of Snakes a couple of years ago and intend to go back in May 2008!
It is a really cool place where you can hold a couple of species of snakes, and see lots of others. It is also a breeding project for snakes, which is in keeping with much of Costa Rica's "eco" approach.
