Great small park to visit 15 minutes walk from the people's square/park. Can be a tad overcrowded but eventually you will find a bench to occupy. Rose garden is amazing and all of the environment was well-manicured. I especially liked the kite-fliers who seemed to get them up very high with huge reels of string. Plenty to do here if... More

This is an extract of what you find here! Couples dancing, grandparents with their kids rollerblading, middle aged ex-military ladies in a drum band, tai chi exercises, ladies practing singing and on and on. What a wonderful place. Also, the most peaceful and to be just a little Chinese - very harmonious. I love it here. More

Once sitting on a wooden bench in the middle of park a few years ago, I could feel the shadow of autumn nearby with the faded leaves underneath as well as the swirl with faded yellow leaves from playful wind behind just under your feet alone, perhaps some lovers came for asking me for doing a favor for capturing their... The park, itself, is nice...lots of greenery, pools, pathways, statues. But the highlights are the kite flyers and the huge group of waltzers/dancers at any given time of the day. The locals just having fun. Good place to stop if taking a long walk through the French Concession. More

What a revelation this wonderful park was. The park itself was beautifully manicured and colourful but the sound and sight of so many people having fun was good for the soul. One of the first groups I saw was a group of singers and musicians singing their hearts out with a sign that said 'every day is a happy day'.... More

Too many elderly stretching their legs out, making it difficult to actually jog in the park. Nice lawn, but not much else. Limited hours also. More

There are so many activities going on in the park - it's hard to know who to watch first. Kites, soccer, yo-yo's, dancing, frisbee, football, water writing, picnics, Mahjong - it's an incredible diversity. More
