people's park is big the location is in center of shanghai. in weekend you will see many many people with a lot of information(match maker) there. have fun in weekend

Like walking around this park and seeing old men play cards and young kids just playing. On Sundays the marriage market takes place here - marriage brokers and parents with pictures in hand. Read the rules! The Chinglish is precious. Barbarrosa in the middle of the park is a nice place to have a drink

The is something special in the park. A piece of green in the middle of the city. Also for the tourists will be interesting to check weekend "Marriage market" where parent/grandparents try to match their kids:)

the Shanghai Renmin Park (People Square, Renmin Guangchang) is located downtown Shanghai, just a few foot steps to several others interested sights of Shanghai. Take the subway from all regions of Shanghai to the city centre to visit the silent Shanghai Renmin Park and to take a rest before you are going to the great Shanghai shopping malls in Nanjing...
