This charter RipTide Charter Boat cancelled bc of weather and then wouldn’t return phone calls for reschedule. Now they are refusing to refund, ignoring CC company about dispute for $520. Don’t book w them while in Orange Beach!

We went out on a fishing charter last week on Riptide with Captain Seth and his deckhand. It was an extremely choppy day out on the water and they admitted the fishing wasn’t great after we got back to dock. We were all ok with the fact that we did catch several red snapper anyways. However, there wasn’t much communication at all during the charter – never once were we told what we were fishing for, how far we were going out (we went out almost 19 miles) or just any general information about fishing/the area, etc. Also feel fair to note the Captain was about 15 minutes late to start our charter, even though we were told to be there 20 minutes early. After arriving back at the docks, we seen several other parties with considerable larger fish and more than we had. Would I do this again, yes probably so. Would I hope for a better communication, definitely yes.

We had a great time. All caught out limits. Caught some trolling too. They were very professional. I highly recommend RipTide Fishing Charters of Orange Beach.

The crew was great, but we spent $97 per person for a 3 hour excursion and only caught 4 fish. My teenage daughter and I were with a group of 12 people. You have to bring your own drinks/snacks as well. Including the tip for the gentleman who cleaned our fish, I spent $210 basically to sit on the back of a boat that trolled for 3 hours. I never even got to touch a fishing pole because there just weren't any fish on the lines. Definitely not worth the $.

Please be sure to read the description before booking a 3 hour trip. A 3 hour trip is trolling for Kings and Spanish, sight seeing and dolphin watching. Not for the serious angler.

Capt Seth and Carleton were great! We did a 4 hour trolling and it was so much fun. A group of 12 of us all got a chance to catch something. Carleton was so patient with our group! Everyone had fun! We saw a shark, dolphins & stingrays! Wish we could have reeled in the huge one that got away! We would definitely do this again!

Captain Seth and Drew made for an outstanding trip. Took our boys out to catch Red Snapper and Mackerel. Seth put on the fish and Drew was unbelievable communicating to our crew. Drew handled the problems that came and kept all 8 of us fishing. He was the ultimate professional. Our trips to Orange Beach will always include Seth and Drew.

Our group included ages 7 thru 64 and we all got to real in a king mackerel. We did the four hour trip after the season ended for most bottom fish so trolled a few miles off shore. Captain Seth and crew Chase were very experienced and friendly to the kids and knew where to find the king mackerel. The boat was pretty basic and ready for a few cosmetic upgrades although all the equipment, gear and the head worked great.
