All I can say is if you been to any botanical gardens they are all the same nothing amazing, it was just ok. More

I could have spent DAYS here! If you like plants, what's not to like? Great gift shop with plants for sale & Wi-Fi, a nice little restaurant (though it was closed on the day we were there), a library with the most plant information I've ever had available in one place, and beautiful, peaceful gardens- so many we weren't able... More

We went to the Botanical Gardens for Earth Day on May 5. We walked around and enjoyed the gardens before checking out the information tables. Its a nice place to spend a couple of hours walking around looking at the flowers, turtles and koi fish. Earth Day could have been a little more exciting but the people were very nice... More

Very beautiful and well laid out. A great place to see when you are in the area. It's right across from the zoo in a very nice neighborhood. More

The gardens are very pretty. It's a good place to go for a relaxing day to walk around or even bring a picnic lunch with you. Admission is free, so there's no inconvenience there. this is a wonderful FREE attraction in Birmingham. A must see. so many different gardens to view, a Leaf N' Petal shop to pick up a unique gift or new item for your home, a library, and more. A great way to spend an afternoon. More

My husband and I did not know what to do so we decided to tour the gardens. I am sure they are wonderful when there at the right time of year.
