Even if you can't afford to stay in the beach resort, you can spend a great day on this beach where you have the choice of swimming in the freshwater river or in the sea. A barrier of sand prevents the two from mixing. Popular with Indian and foreign tourists and highly recommended.
If you want to chill out then come here. Bit of a mission to get to down some bumpy tracks. Beach is ok, it also has a lake but bit slimey for my liking. There are some huts where you can stay and a small restaurant
this is just a very beautiful and romantic beach! There are only two places. The swimming is OK, not the best in Goa. So enjoy it.
Probably the most bful beach of Goa. Nice Sweet water lake just 3-4 feet deep, No shacks on Beach so Its pure Nature. just a restaurant on the beach which also provide Good Tents for accommodation. Loved the tents there and pretty cheap MARCH RATE Rs.1500 for a tent for couple, that too sea and lake facing. Coming back to...

It took us some time to find this beach and go through some really rough road. but it was well worth it...very secluded beach and not very well known. You can see the fresh water joining the ocean. its a small beach so not many options to eat..
Here you can really relax and enjoy the beach and nature. Swim in the sea and the river. Littble difficult to find. but worthwhile.
This is a very quiet sandy beach. Well worth a visit. The sea though cannot be slimmed in as its too rough.
Slightly off the main road down a bumpy sand road. Then a short steep walk down to the beach and lagoon. Huts and tents under the palm trees. Sea can be a bit rough and strong currents
