Best fudge ever! They also have a large variety of t shirts and souvenirs. We always stop by here multiple times before we leave the beach.
You can walk through the shark's mouth up front, and see the pirate ship out back. Both are great photo opportunities! Our 2 year old daughter enjoyed looking at everything in the store, too. It was the first souvenir shop she'd ever been to. Neat place! Normal souvenir stuff to purchase, as well...and fudge!!
I remember going to Souvenir City when I was 11 and it was a blast and now as an adult it was a blast. We had the most fun and got some items we had wanted.
Yes, it is full if trinkets that you don't really need but it is a fun way to splurge on your beach vacation. We always go even if we only leave with a few dollars worth of souvenirs. They have something for every budget!
It's these kind of attractions...of the few that are left...that make a trip to the Gulf complete. A cheesy...breezy...road side kind of souvenir place loaded with sea shells, t-shirts, swim gear, surfer wannabe clothing, etc. It's the kind of place that no one really needs...but the kind of place that everyone would miss if it weren't there anymore.
This place was fun and touristy. The kind of place my nine year old girl likes. It was very crowded and loaded with lots of different merchandise. We actually prefered Island Outfitters to this place.
It does have your usual selection of overpriced apparel, etc. You wall thru a massive shark head to gain entrance. Which in a town with so many shops, it needs something to gain your attention. If you don't absolutely need it, go to Wal-mart, as you'll be paying $5-10 more for the same flip flops, swim trunks, etc.
