Beautiful palace on the lake ! However, at the moment, it's not permissible to visit and so you can only admire its beauty from a distance. You can walk on the promenade at the lake front; however, the place is dirty and its a great shame that the government does nothing at all to keep this beautiful city clean. Shame... More

It is on the amer highway and you can have a distant look only, as the palace does not have an approach road.It is covered all around by water and nobody goes there. You can take photos from a distance, that's all.

The rather small palace gleams like a jewel on the lake, as seen from the highway that runs towards Amber Fort. But the interiors are a delightful surprise, with long corridors, rooms, a garden full of plants and flowers, and there are enough paintings on the walls to keep you engrossed.

Jal Mahal. Here, this is only a view point and not allowed to go in.Looks like there were boat service earlier, but none currently. When we travel from Delhi to Jaipur, or towards Agra, one can site this on he way. As you stop, please stop by and take couple of photos.. thats it ! There is no need to... More

This is a palace in the lake. Currently you cannot visit it , but our guide informed us that they are building a jetty for motor boats to ferry visitors. Included in master plan is a restaurant on the premises. It would then be a very good attraction for spending an evening. For the time being do not build time... More

This is a great monument set in the middle of the lake and looks wonderful from distance. That's the issue though you only get to see it from a distance. However, it certainly is impressive. It's also on the way back to town from the Amber Fort so an easy sight to stop and admire. Good for a few photos... More

the monument is good right in front of Trident Hotel and it is good in the evening when you can spend some peaceful time sitting in front of it. and you can find camel & elephants to take ride in the evening. In day you can see it only and in evening you can sit for some peaceful time,

An evening stroll along the walkway is good to take in the beauty of this water palace from a distance. Tourists are greatly disheartened at the inaccessibility of the palace; though one can have good photographic opportunity.
