While the building looks VERY impressive from outside, everything changes once you get inside. In no point inside the building can you appreciate nor see the entire height of it, as it is obstructed by low ceilings that do not do the place justice. This was SO disappointing for us, as this was supposed to be the best looking building... More

Surely this is one of the most impressive buildings in Mumbai and possibly the whole of India. This huge terminus stands with a multitude of detailed architectural designs with stained windows a plenty whilst also representing a piece of history and still extremely functional as one of India's foremost railway stations used by millions each year. To view from the... More

As it is commonly known, VT is a must see in a visit to Bombay, at least from the outside, which is stunning and a world heritage site. Best light for photos is inn the late afternoons.

Grande Dame of Railway Stations....where it all began. It's sheer presence is awesome. Even the most uninitiated cannot but feel the presence it has. Probably what prompted the dastardly attack by terrorists

How much better they try to make that much worse it becomes.. No better infrastructure developments.. always full and crowded whether it be late evening or early mornings.. but in the end there is no choice other than this airport.. Tip: Always leave for this airport well in advance as you never know the traffic situation in Mumbai, especially on... More

The way to look at Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Formerly Victoria Terminus is look at it in Two ways. 1. As the First Railway terminus in Indai and 2. As one of the most beautiful building that India and Mumbai posses. The effort taken to build such an imposing structure is a marvel by itself. It is one of the... More
