How can a religious worship place be so filthy is beyond me. Respect yourself and clean this place up! The walk to the mosque is agonizing, with numerous vendors and beggers - the place is dangerously overcrowded. Watch out for those big waves, as they can literally wash you off the path and into the sea.

The location of the Mosque, which is right inside the sea, is awesome. There is a small pathway, crowded by shops on both sides. The interesting information I came to know is that the water level varies on both side of pathway based on the time of the day. We went in the morning, and found that there was not... More

the vendors, beggars and crowds make the trip a harrowing experience, especially if you are acting as a guide to a foreign visitor

Even that I am afraid of crowded places and this has been one of the most ones...visiting Haji Ali Mosque was an exiting experience. The only idea of visiting a Mosque and Tomb that is floating in the ocean made me to face my fairs and go there. You can visit this place only during low tide, when a path... More

Visited here at midday. Security absent.? Causeway completely strewn with beggers and hawkers. Great place to stop and watch the world go by. Mosque itself very basic, but great setting. The setting is a major attraction of Mumbai but the place needs better upkeep and management. No problem of Car park. The sea on one side and the city on the other... More

A small shrine that is in the sea, with access via a pier. Worth going to, for the experience. Just on the main road is their juice Center, definately worth having a fresh fruit juice there or one of their cream specialities. And it's pretty safe to eat and drink there, though we avoided adding ice to our drinks.

Breath taking it looks during night. The level of sea rises little upwards and the ramp which connects to the Mosque from land gets covered with water. This is a place where you will get peace, you can feel the mystic powers of the place and this divine place is a must visit. I believe in Haji Ali a lot... More
