One of the best in Sagada... though this one is not for the fainted heart, as it requires a lot of endurance.. the descend is not an easy one, but the breathtaking views more than made up for challenge. coming here, one must register and pay the tour guide ( it's required), and the P10 enviromental fee, which according to... Caveat Emptor: The trek towards this falls is not for the faint of heart, weak of stomach and most especially, the whinny of mouth. But if you do brave the 8km vertical descent under an unrelenting sun, you'll be rewarded with a most magnificent sight. The pool under the falls is ice cold, perhaps below 15C, and is the perfect... The trek to this falls is quite challenging especially to those who are not used to hike bec. (it's a little bit far, i's about an hour trek going down and 2hrs trek going up) ...but upon reaching the falls you will be enchanted to take a dip...my advice is wear cooler shirts ( dri fit ) or light weight... Don't forget your stick! This is one of the things that we did during our first day in Sagada. do believe that you need to bring a rain-coat or an umbrella if you do not want to get wet. And for your gadget's safety, bring protection for it like those that water-proof them. For me, the trek along the rice... More

What i liked was just the trek to and fro the falls. It was long and the view was beautiful ( ricefields, houses, trees). It was a good exercise :) i just didn't like the falls, nothing awesome about it.

Not just to see the falls and swim in the refreshing ice cold pool at the bottom.....but to be able to walk through the stunning rice terraces was a dream realised. Our guide was wonderful and explained the day to day life of the local people. The challenging climb back up the 3600 steps from the valley only made the... More

The Bomod Ok falls are ok if you don't get to see many waterfalls but the trek to the spot is an experience that not many gets a chance to do. Where else can you hike down a real rice terraces and walk through a local village ( though they have modernized quite a bit). Going down was easy but... More

If you've been to Katibawasan Falls in Camiguin, then you'll say that they are pretty much the same, except that the Bomod-ok Falls is higher. To get there, you have to trek down for about 1.5-2 hours and more or less another 2 hours going back. The path you have to trek is the rice fields. We all know that... More

It took us about an hour of tracking before we reached the bomod-ok falls. The scenery, mountains, terraces along the way are breathtaking. It's a very good form of cardio exercise really, I felt I lost several pounds after. The falls isn't really that spectacular to begin with, just normal. I suggest you start trekking early morning.

Along the 2-hour trek to this falls, one will have to pass through the rice terraces themselves. While the walk may get tricky for some, it offers an unparalleled perspective of the surrounding rice paddies. You'll also pass through a quaint little village where you'll see how the locals actually live.
