To get this view you need to be prepared to a 90 minute walk up to the top of Cerro Pan de Azúcar. When you're there, you may choose to take the steps to the arms of the (rather ugly) cross at the top of the hill. Plenty of parking place and some handcraft stores at the bottom, also snacks...

Went with my twelve year old and would say it is a difficult walk up, sometimes more if a scramble up, but well worth it. No water at the top, so take with you. About 2.5 hours plus

When you see the Cerro from the road it looks quite small. During the walk/climb it looks quite big.
