This tour starts with a bus ride then transfer to a longboat for a trip along the klongs, past temples and waterfront homes, and then to the floating market. It's a busy place, with many stalls along the waterfront as well as vendors selling mainly food from their boats. It's a great day out and well worth it. More

I recently went to the Floating Market about 1 1/2 hours outside of Bangkok and was highly disappointed. The visit provided no cultural significance or history. This market is the exact same thing you would see at the Night Market (Patpong) in BKK with street vendors trying to sell you anything and everything under the sun. On top of this,... More

This is a great and colourful market, with some wonderfully cheap finds. Make sure you hire a boat for not more than 100 (a hundred) Bahts (they will ask you for 3000...) and get a "guided" tour of the market. While the market IS a nice place, I'm not sure it's worth the cab drive from Bangkok (time and money),... More

I really enjoyed this trip although it was a good 1.5 hour drive from Bangkok It is full of photo opportunities and the people in the boats and on the stalls are quite happy to let you snap away. The trip also included trips to a place doing elephant rides and a snake show which wasnt made clear in the... More

What an adventure. It is a really neat thing to do and I highly recommend. Of course it is a tourist trap, but a fun one. There are different spots to go and grab a boat and I would suggest you do your research and know exactly where to go to get the cheapest price for a boat. We did... More

The floating market is about one hour trip from downtown Bangkok , suggest one goes early as most of the vendors selling their wares normally goes home at about 11am and arrange a tour company to take you there It is kinder of fun, interesting and unique to visit this place for the first time , most of items sold... I visited floating market with my wife. Actually, it was my second time to visit this market. I was still amazed how many floating boats conduct business in a narrow stream of water. Many sellers on a boat sell fruits, artifacts, paints and many more things without any problem or accidents. Prices are good but I have advise each traveler... More
