LAW's objective is to relieve the suffering and pain of the animals on the island through sterilisation and care. We are open to visitors everyday from 11am to 5pm when our volunteer staff will happily provide a guided tour of the shelter. We have lots of friendly dogs who would love a long walk and cats who would like a cuddle! Our major sponsor is Time For Lime bar, restaurant and cooking school, without their valuable support we would not be here. « less

My partner and I decided to pop into LAW on a whip today following some word of mouth recommendations. This place is superb. A non profit setup with a group of volunteers helping sick and stay animals on the island. They do some incredible work here by curing serious injuries, controlling the stary population and allowing tourists in to play... More

We loved how we could turn up and help out for the day. We walked lots of doggies and socialised with lots of cats. The people who work and volunteer here are fantastic. They are really helping the islands animals and especially trying to cut numbers by sterilisation. The animals all look really well fed and healthy now they have... More

A great way to spend some time helping the do good volunteers walk their pups while they tend to more immediate demands of almost 70 animals! The most dogless Soi's I've seen has been on Ko Lanta! Well done LAW! More

It's nice to know that there are people looking to change the situation with the number of strays over the island. Pop by early in your trip and take the dogs for a walk. Lets keep this as the number one activity on the island - something socially conscious that visitors can get involved in and give a little something... More

The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable about the organisation, the animals who had come to them, etc. This place is doing a great job of getting the animal population under control and providing a safe haven to injured and abadoned animals. People can stay there and volunteer their time. Alternatively, some volunteers stay at other places on the island and... More
