Hardly any of the historic building are intact , a stroll amongst them gives you a good idea of how the city may have been laid out.

Worth a visit to tick off the 'must see' list. Sunset is a good time to go & the tuk tuk tour we did was great - our driver was very good.

We were so pleased at our trip to Ayuthaya. I'm not sure if it was due to flood damage, but the tourist attractions and ruins were all almost empty of tourists, and they weren't charging the usual fees as entry to the ruins. We were so pleasantly surprised at the area and would recommend a trip here to anyone.
