If you during the day, it is worth going back at night to see the beauty of the place. Also dont miss the food kitchens.
Exquisite sight to beheld. never seen anything more beautiful than this temple. Every arrangement in the temple was well organized... that was the only reason that even after having more than thousands of pilgrims at one time... there was no chaos at all... we all were deeply merged with the divine soul... Best Experience ever
I wasn't really bothered about this before we went, however it was the top of our favourites list in India, a humbling experience, long queues though so get there early ...it's open from 4 am
yes of course this temple is wonderful, we covered Sikh museum as well, and stayed couple of hours at Golden temple, but maybe we expected too much. we could see how Sikh people bow and pray when they enter the temple and also in the middle of the temple there were a lot of people praying.

Make sure you visit the temple during after sunrise and sunset both. Do not miss the holy dip and the langar. If you plan to stay at the Temple Dharamshala, be prepared for getting no rooms if there is a long rush over a weekend. They do not accept pre-bookings and you might be disappointed when you reach there.
