The Santa Lucia Church is an amazing architecture built around 1853, it has a dome with attached cuisine dishes donated by a couple who got married in this temple (as the story tells us). Easter and Christmas time are very solemn, so if you visit Suchitoto, don´t miss the Santa Lucia Church.

The Spanish architecture of this church is lovely, especially when hit by the glow of the setting sun across the Plaza de San Martin. The facade has undergone restoration, but if you walk around it you'll see how old it really is. The inside (open only limited hours around Mass schedules) is almost all wood, very faded and dilapidated, but...
