Loved everything about this beach! It was really quiet when we were there and at one point my husband and I were the only ones on there but we were told by the waiter in Zlatni Rat Beach Resort that in high season thousands would be on there. The beach is stones rather than sand so take water shoes to... More

Too crowded and not authentic food. You could have similar food anywhere in the world. More

We had 2 nights in Split and decided we wanted a day at the beach since the weather had warmed up nicely. On nearby Brac Island is the world famous Zlatni Rat beach, so we decided to go. It was a little difficult getting there as the summer ferry rides had not started but we were able to get a... More

It's a beautiful beach. It is pebbly, so water shoes or tough feet are definitely required. You have to pay for chairs, but not to sit on the pebbles... More

The sea, the beach, the vegetation, everything is beautiful and distinctive ... On the beach there are many small bars and shops to eat different things (good glasses of fruit, pancakes and french fries ... but also many other things), a vast pine forest where nap in the shade and stay fresh, and also a nudist beach, secluded enough .... Firstly - the moment I saw a photo of the Zlatni Rat Beach, I knew I had to visit Croatia. The beach is stunning... nothing much to be said. As others have mentioned, it is not quite the same in person as it is in the photos but, that certainly doesn't take away from the natural beauty of the grounds... More

Water was very clear, but the aerial pictures make it look like it'd be sand when in reality it's a lot of rocks. More

Zlatni Rat beach is a spectacular outcrop of beach that seems to extend out into the ocean in the shape of a triangle. It has a pine forest in the centre and pebbly beach either side. Its a must see in Bol, however there are drawbacks such as it is very busy (day trips from Split and Hvar keep arriving... More

My boyfriend and I visited Zlanti Rat whilst we were on our holidays in Croatia. It was a really lovely island but agree with others its not the paradise that you see in the post cards. We did a day trip to the island and I think really it was all very rushed for us. To get to the beach... More
