The park is so-so, but I did enjoy the haunted cave (10RMB) and the much larger cave at the front where there is now a very cool fast food restaurant and a small market including some second hand bookstores. I even saw a kebab shop.

A lot of people in Liuzhou like to take strolsl next to the river after dinner or run along its banks. The city has spent a a large sum of money in recent years to install lighting and artificial waterfalls to beatify the riverbanks. The lights go on around dusk during the summer and last until late evening.
