A slightly bizarre although interesting visit. The monastery itself is quite large and has over a thousand monks I believe, of all different ages including some very young novices. This monastery is huge and is home to over 2000 monks and many are young. We arrived at 10am and they were preparing lunch for the monks. This is an amazing sight. The monks queue for their food and they Make their way to the lunch halls where all of them sit and eat their lunch. A very interesting experience.
