Every Sunday morning until about 2pm one can stroll at the hippie fair. It's a huge open air market where they sell furniture, paintings, souvenirs, children's clothes, jewellery, bags & shoes. Believe: this is one of the most famous street fair in Brazil. In the vicinities of fair you can see many buses with licenses from far states. The highlight, really, is the meat on a stick in the food area! We also enjoyed watching some people doing capoeira (Brazilian dance/fighting). And the park that borders the street is a great place to wander, play, listen to music if there's a band playing, and picnic. if you like open air markets/ fairs, you will surely enjoy the Hippie Fair that only happens on Sunday morning at Av. Alfonso Pena in front of the Municipal Park.
