It was a few years ago we went to this, so maybe it's upgraded by now, but it's put me off dinner-theater forever. Very mediocre food served hurriedly and then a comedy act where they make fun of the audience and then I can't remember what the play was it was so intolerable.

I thought this sounded different and fun so I made sure to check reviews and thought it was a good choice.
I was cautiously optimistic based on some of the reviews, but we did have a good time and laughed quite a bit. It was fun and different - just as I thought it might be. The food was not...

As the last minute we decided to try out the mystery dinner and are we glad we did attend! While the setting seemed a bit odd using a closed restuarant, it actually ended up being and ideal setting due to the scene changes. We were sat at rounds of 8 with other couples which was part of the entertainment to...

We are an ethnically diverse group of single, divorced, and married ladies ranging in age from 25-75. On September 10, 2011 we chose the Mystery Dinner Playhouse in Arlington, VA as our venue. There were 17 of...

For the most part I think you have to just keep an open mind. I purchased 10 tickets through Groupon last year and used them for my birthday. Not only were some of the lines hard to understand, a couple of the actors where clueless. It was not a "mystery dinner", it was like going to a restaurant...

Well, you won't forget this event. You will be a) seated with strangers at group tables, b) encouraged to buy alcoholic beverages, which at least half of your table is likely to do, in excess and c) interact with the actors who are walking around the tables, and you may be made one of the characters in their skits, d)...

My wife and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary with Mystery Dinner Playhouse in Arlington. We loved the interaction with the cast who were very funny. Great memories were made! The food was very tasty too. I have also been to the Richmond, VA location and would recommend any show at any location because a better value for Dinner and...

Great atmosphere. The food is great, the actors are hillarious, and the experience is wonderful. If I was in the D.C. area I would try to see each production these guys put on.
