I had the privilage of obtaining passes to tour The Pentagon. Expect a 45 minute walking tour with a member of the military, walking hallways upon hallways - but seeing the 9/11 memorial made it worth it. More

The Pentagon has an amazing history both is its construction and function. There are numerous displays throughout the hallways depicting Americas military history. Guided tours (the only kind) are conducted my active duty service members. Be sure to bring a government issued ID as it is needed to gain access. Be aware that there is absolutely no photography allowed in... More

Very interesting. Each tour group has two enlisted military personnel escort you thru portions of the building, but make sure you go on-line and make your reservations months ahead of time. More

Our public tour was led by an Army guy and an Air Force guy, both in their late teens or early twenties. They had the script memorized for the tour but did not know the answers to essentially any questions. They run you through so quickly that you do not have the time to look at any of the displays... The world's largest office buiding. If you haven't taken a tour, you can't imagine what the inside is like, or how truly huge this building is. More
