Very nice visit for a Sunday afternoon, accessible for all. Don't wait till July and August. In the middle of town.

It's about a ten minute drive from downtown Austin! It's beautiful with lots of different areas such as a rose garden, Asian garden, butterfly park. Great outing for families as well as friends and couples. A lot of wildlife out there such as fish, frogs, butterflies, insects, snakes etc. Only thing we missed was either to be allowed to bring...

I love this place. I use to pick up my son from day care, grab some dinner and meet my husband there. Very relaxing place to have your dinner and let the traffic die down. If you enjoy trails that meander through beautiful flowers, abundant plants, ponds, pond fish, and architectural relics... then you'll love this place too.
My BF's mom was in town and we took her there for a walk, as she is a nature lover. All three of us enjoyed the stay, as the garden is really well-organized and was not crowded as we expected.
Tons of wildlife to look at, mostly birds and butterflies, some lizards, and we saw snakes too (there were on...

My grandkids loved it. We learned so much about the beautiful flowers and how they related to the earth. The many different flowers amazed our grandchildren. The beauty is fantastic.
Clean, very relaxed atmosphere. Wear shoes with grip! Some rocks are slick when wet. They had old cabins and homes from the frontier days
We really enjoyed this place. We only had 1 hour before they were closing when we got there, but we were able to see so many beautiful things. We are definately planning on going back when we are able to take our time.

We saw a number of plants new to us and with the labeling it was fun learning new names and associations. Go out of your way and schedule a couple of hours to wander casually thru the...

Went here to hike about! In April there were not many blue bonnets left, but there were lots of other flowers to see. Nice way to spend an afternoon.
This garden is very small and a little wilted. It does have a pond with stepping stones for the kids and it provides a nice shady spot to cool off.
