We took our daughter because she is crazy about horses! We were surprised by how much we learned. The museum does an excellent job of sharing the immense history of quarter horses.

This was a refreshing educational experience. The cost was $6, which is under priced for the amount of education and experience one can obtain. One could spend hours reading and admiring the exhibits as well as the art displays. The museum has plenty of room for all to enjoy the beauty of each section for as long as they like.... More

Take your time and enjoy the history of local quarter horses. Good presentation and easy to get around. Cost is reasonable and parking is available. Museum is on Interstate 40 and very easy to locate and get to.

This is a beautiful showcase for the American quarter horse. The building is gorgeous, and the sculptures were a marvel, I loved the history of the bloodlines and seeing the evolution of the breed. Absolutely recommend stopping for a couple of hours if you are anywhere around Amarillo.

My husband has a long history with quarter horses so he enjoyed all the historical information and could identify with the horse lines and owners. It was an education for me since I do not have the same history. This facility is so beautiful and upscale. Nice gift shop.
