America on Wheels has a variety of cars, trucks, bikes, motorcycles, and pedal cars. They are attractively displayed against large murals with posters, mannequins, tools, and even a statue adding to the display. The signage was informative. There were interactive displays with a Mack truck to "drive", wood blocks with questions to answer, and headphone wands. I particularly enjoyed the...

Went there a while back when they featured Mc Queen and Mater from the movie Cars. Also went recently for a non-related event.
Very neat and clean; surrounded by vintage cars and related items. Upstairs is a craft room for kids; also a cafe and scenic view.
At times they even have train exhibits.
I'm not a car enthusiast but...

Its a great place for family or any age of people who likes Cars. The collection is really good and they only change $8 for entry. And Parking is free. We went on Sunday and had a good time. Its only 40 minutes drive from my place and worth watching it.
This museum is celebrating its 5th anniversary and deserves all the positive reviews it gets. It is dedicated to any vehicles with wheels, motorized or not. They have interesting exhibits on different models of cars including those that ran on steam; electric cars; an exhibit on hot rods and a section dedicated to Mack Trucks, a company that started in...

Just went to America on Wheels for a first time visit and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of really cool vehicles to see from cars to motorcycles to little peddle pusher cars for kids. Our guide, Dennis, made the trip extremely informative. He really knew his stuff about all of the exhibits and actually had some things from his own private...

I attended a private party at AoWM this past weekend and couldn't be more impressed with the staff and facility. Our event was held in the Hubcap Cafe, a throwback to 50's soda bar nostalgia...very cool. All in all it was an excellent experience. I cannot stress enough how helpful and kind the staff is here, not to mention all...

If you like cars and trucks then this is a great place to go for a few hours. The exhibits are engaging. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You will definitely learn something. And they have done a nice job of integrating local and PA businesses (i.e. history, contributions to exhibits, etc.). Great for adults and kids.
Went there with my son on 2/10/13 . We were so cold that we couldn't stop to read the plaques describing the cars . We were told the furnace was broke , ok but how about free hot chocolate for kids or something . The staff was wearing hat, gloves, winter coats . In and out about 30 minutes to...

Nice permanent and changing displays of cars and other modes of transportation and items associated with them. Expected it to be larger and have more displays, but what they have is all interesting. It is worth the stop if you are in Allentown.
