This is definitly my favorite area in Oregon! Mount Ashland is nice because you have really good access to it and you can drive quite a ways up it. We drove to the camp area where they have a place for parking and from there you can take the trail to the top, in fact i'm pretty sure you can... More

The skiing is fantastic - unbelievable diversity of runs. Everything is well maintained and the rental shop is well stocked and reasonably priced.

You can drive up to the 7600 foot summit right off I-5 just north of the Oregon-California border, on the PCT, the hiking and the views from Mt. Ashland are wonderful. It's my sister's favorite hike, and there are plenty of trails. Mountain meadows with flowers, a spellbinding view of the Siskiyou mountains to the south with Mt. Shasta dominating... More

This was my first visit to Mt. Ashland. The weather was great and the slopes were fun. The runs are short but the snow was great. I was there on a Sunday and the lines were short so no waiting for lifts. The lift staff did a great job.

Even on a "busy" day, not too crowded. We got a great deal on kids' lessons- three days of snowboard lessons, lift tickets & rental gear for about $120 (total, not per day!) Nice beers available in the bar and we enjoyed the deck overlooking the beginner's slope. Food was OK and pricey, typical for a ski lodge. Lodge is... More

I love Mt. Ashland all year 'round. In the winter, enjoy nicely groomed and challenging slopes - you can even access some back country terrain from the lifts. The staff is friendly and there's usually little to no crowds. The views are awesome, and after a day of tearing up the slopes, enjoy an ice-cold beer in the bar or... More

We enjoyed good weather, good snow and no lines the day we were there. It is very low key with very friendly staff. Great views from the top and lots of nice, friendly skiers to share lift rides.

I have relatives who live in Vienna Austria so obviously some of the best skiing in the world. When they whet to Mt. Ashland they said it was good skiing for a little mountain.

This is a decent ski resort and their prices are very affordable. Runs are a little shorter than what most CA skiers are used to, but that is more than made up for in excellent snow much more frequently. Parking is woefully insufficient, so plan to hike a ways on slippery roads to get to the lodge. Daily parking is... More

Even though there were lots of people this day we still had a blast. Conditions were excellent. There was a bit sun and lots of soft snow. Family had a great time.
