This is a great place to visit, although I would recommend visiting in the spring or fall. It was really hot and some of the animals did not come out to be viewed.

The zoo is a great place to spend the day. Be sure to plan to stay the whole day, there are so many animals to see. WE have been going to the zoo since it first opened,it was only a few animals in buildings and pens, it has grown and changed a lot. I have enjoyed watching it grow and...

The landscaping is beautiful, the animal habitats are well kept and the parking is good. One of the nicest things about this zoo is that most of the walkways are shaded making it very comfortable even in the summer. It is always one of our families favorite yearly day trips.

I find it is to spread out to enjoy. It is better to go to one section per trip.

We enjoyed our visit to the zoo...lots of animals to see...really loved the gators, gorillas & baby baboons! However, the day of our visit it was miserably hot so a lot of the animals were lying in the shade (who could blame them???) We also got very overheated in a short period of time due to lack of shade. Five...
