Surprisingly cool museum. A nice mix of underwater aecheology (check out the glass recycling boat & look for Cleopatra's seal that dated the one wreck) and climbing around a fort. The gift shop has cool stuff, especially note cards, for a good price. How can you not like a castle made from recycled stones from one of the seven wonders... More

Very authentic historical sight with breath-taking views in all directions. Small ones will get bored, and the steps will tire them and the elderly. If you can plan to be there around sunset - WOW. Also, take time to support the mom & pop snack bar in the mini-pine forest. Cool breeze on all but the hottest days. We were... More

This is a stunning fortress of great historical significance with beautiful views out over Bodrum. There are Ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian artefacts, items salvaged from sunken ships thousands of years ago- jewellery, coins, amphoras and statues. It's a look back into the magic of the ancient world. Not to be missed. More

Loved, loved, LOVED St Peters Castle! Spent half a day wandering around and took a LOT of photos! This is what I imagine a real castle to be like but can't think of any others to compare it to. This felt like a 'proper' castle and the views from the top are well worth the effort! The only thing I... More

The Castle of St. Peter is, indeed the best attraction in Bodrum and it should be visited by everyone who gets there. The castle is situated on the shore and is easily visible from the port. The view from the top of the castle is amazing. More
