It looks like an ordinary column with no special sign. If you don't try to find it purposely, you may pass by it without even noticing. The easy way to get to the column is from Haci Camii, which is a block away uphill

I saw the column on a walk from Gençlik Park to the Hacı Bayram mosque on a late Friday afternoon in March as people were heading home from work. The column survives in a plaza/park area surrounded by Turkish government buildings. I sat nearby and enjoyed a simit (a wide circular bread with sesame seeds that's a common afternoon treat...
