Manila Cathedral is a lovely, large building. With a nice park opposite, the area is colourful and often noisy. The Cathedral is dominated by white statues that contrast against the grey cathedral stone, and the vast wooden doors at the front. It is now a basilica. It is Cavernous and big with lots of corners to peek in and see bits and pieces of historical footnotes. More

Hailed to be one of the best and most beautiful churches in the Philippines. It is just sad though when we visited the church it was closed for a one year renovation. More

This church, located inside Intramuros, is rich in history. It is one of the oldest and grandest of churches in Manila. The interiors were grand, and we sat for a mass too. A lot of the rich and famous of Manila get married here (though I would not recognise them ever! and am anyway indifferent to them) More
