having loved the hawker good in Penang we thought we would give it a go in KL. I didn't enjoy Bintang Walk at all. The vendors are very pushy shoving menus at you and not allowing you just to look and choose in peace. Do they really think this entices people in? Far from it! We got out of there... More

A bustling precinct, with shops open till 10 pm. Great local food along Jalan Alor just behind Jalan Bukit Bintang with outside evening eating at the north east end. My pick is the one with the water mist sprays under red Chinese lanterns. Cash needed for each dish, but so cheap and so good. More

From an anchor to a needle or from a byte to a bite is what epitomises Bukit Bintang. It has a jumping night life with a myriad of street cafes, bars and up market eateries to choose from. Its frankly eclectic as amid the sometimes not so clean streets out pop shops like Laura Ashleigh. Its a mecca for techno... More

There are lots of shopping malls that offer cheap imitations and expensive original items such as electronics, clothes and accessories. Restaurants and eateries are everywhere including McDonalds and KFC. It offers all types of asian, western and other authentic cuisines at very cheap prices. The pavillion shopping centre has a very modern food court with a great variety including malaysian,... More

Bukit Bintang is another "must see" in KL (along with the Petronas Towers). There is nothing specific to see or do in Bukit Bintang other than walk around the various shopping malls ranging from super pricey to very discount and grab a coffee or a bite to eat at a huge selection of restaurants ranging from good street food to... I always enjoy shopping at Bukit Bintang. It has great variety ranging from designer to cheap stuff. I really like the fashion wear stores at Sungai Wang. They offer great variety of relatively good quality items at bargain prices. Sungai Wang is directly connected to the monorail station. Very convenient! More

If you are in Kuala Lumpur you should definitely have a wonder round, we found some great bars with lovely people! We also stumbled upon the street that is alot of outside restaurants, we had just eaten unfortunately so didn't sample but the food looked great. More
