A wonderful monument set amongst beautiful fountains and gardens. The memorial is to honour the fallen soldiers (including Australians) in various wars.

This site is not near any public transport but its a site to remembers the soldiers that has sacrifice for malaysia. Just enjoy the greenery surroundings and if you are lucky you can spot wedding processions for photo taking.

The place is located 5 opposite the :Lake Garden, approximately 5 minutes drive from busy Merdeka Square area.
There is no entrance fee and there are limited parking space available outside the monument.
The main attraction would be the monument. If you take a 5 minutes walk down the hill, you may find some sculptures inside a small garden.

If you are around the Lake Gardens area then this monument is worth a visit.The first thing that impressed me was the size which is quite large. The predominately blue colors used are really vivid and bright which adds a moderness to this structure.It is surrounded by water which makes it quite interesting.
