A beautiful building with a fabulous collection. Unfortunately, the museum's ``Palestine timeline,'' which refers to the Romans, the Crusaders and the Muslims, totally ignores the land's connection with the ancient Hebrews, the forebears of today's Jews. More

This was a very interesting museum in a lovely building. The domes are beautiful. Lots of artifacts set out in a logical way that is easy to find your way around. Everything is clearly labelled in bahasa and English. It is also lovely and cool inside! There is a restaurant but it is closed on Monday's which is when we... More

A truly wonderful museum. Wether you're muslim or not, you will really enjoy it, almost all the major aspects of Islam are covered, ,presented and explained. Through the different galleries you can see the different mosquees architecture, or wander through the penetration of Islam in Asia (through India, China and Malaysia). A must-see while in Kuala Lumpur! More

Great museum. Went there in May and it was almost abandoned, allowing you to quietly enjoy the various pieces of Islamic art on display. Definitely worth a visit. More

Islam is the longest conected practice and rulling power in the world.1500 years after prophet Mohammad,it is still have 1.5billion follower. Many of them pray 5times a day toward Mecca. This museum have a lot to do to be able to show glory of Islam.I suggest visiting Topkapi in Istanbul to have a more clear idea about Islam. More

Loved the work displayed, some beautiful artwork for sure. The only drawback, in my opinion, is that the displays could be a way to better educate the public about the history and symbolism behind more of the pieces. More

Really liked enjoyed this museum, it was informative and not too large so you could see the whole thing. The shop is also great for gifts or souvenirs to take home. More

I didnt know much about Islam, and this museum was great in giving me some chronology and understanding of where it evolved across the world. The building itself is beautiful, with so much detail. The absolute highlight was the Architectural Hall which has intricate models of Mosques throughout the world - these are amazing. It was relatively quiet - a... More
