You have to be aware that the Mosque has certain hours to come and visit, so you may go to the Bird Park or other attraction near by before or after. It doesn´t take much time to visit the Mosque. For me it wasn´t very impressive or attractive, just a big space, with strong meaning though.

This mosque is one of the landmarks of KL. This huge mosque is a must-visit when you are in KL. There is a seperate entrance for tourists and non-muslims where you are given a purple gown to enter the mosque. Every visitor has to remove shoes before entrance and respect dress code. It can fit 15,000 people at one time....

We read our friday prayer at this mosque. It has anamzing design and it is a great place to visit. Go early if you ar going to attend the friday Jummah prayer.

This mosque is the central/national mosque of KL. It is open to both muslims and non-muslims. For non-muslims visitors, robes are provided and not accessible for a short period during prayer times. Really helpful and friendly people there who are more than happy to talk to you about their faith and whatever other questions you may have.
would highly recomment it to anyone interested in the muslim faith.

The National Mosque has light and airy modern architecture situated in 12 hectares of garden right across from the Old Train Station. Volunteers will supply a robe and head scarf (for women) if you come in tourist garb. Others will answer questions and give directions. You can't enter the mosque but you can view it and take photos.

couldn't believe my eyes! Amazing to see. Loved the pool. worth the visit. If nothing else good for snapping a few pretty pics. Tourists are allowed outside prayers time. Heads up, if you aren't covered ie arms, legs and head hair exposed (females) the adequate covering will be provided also worn by other tourists ( you could take your own?)...
