Visited on13 March 2012. Walked from the Masjid Jamek station (LRT). Just outside the station is a street market area. There are 3 or 4 interesting older buildings (circa 1900’s) to see along the way. The clock tower and large Malaysian flag appear to be icons of old Kuala Lumpur. lovely to see the orign of such an amazing city. from mosques to churches, and lots more people are so friendly and everything is reasonably priced if not free !! More

This place is an excellent introduction to KL. It explains the history of the city and has very interesting information about the buildings on the Merdeka Square and Chinatown. It also has some cute models of the city. We ended up there by chance and were really positively surprised. And best of all: it´s free! More

Great place to learn about the city. Beautiful miniature model and artwork. Just next to the National Flag in Merdeka square. Not to be missed. More

It was an accident that we were able to see this place as it wasn't listed in the guidebook. Anyway, we saw the ads and people giving handouts about this newly opened attraction right at Merdeka Square. It is reminiscent of other city galleries, like the one in Singapore (URA Gallery). The history part is really amazing plus the best... More
