It was our first trekking trip into the rainforest. Happy (our tour guide) a very easygoing person and one with lots of knowledge, keep us busy thinking about the way we think about our life and how we can overcome fear, anxiety through the surrounding nature. Ask him all you want about where to have the best food. The trip... More

Spending a day with Happy Yen at Chiling Waterfalls is like spending a day with a cross between the Dalai Lama and Steve Irwin! On a stifling hot day, I was fortunate enough to escape Kuala Lumpur with Happy on a solo trip and head north to learn about personal philosophy, happiness, and to see the beautiful jungle of Malaysia.... I did this one day trip with happy Yen and two other Malaysian tourguides who also wanted to experience Happy Yen's tour. Happy is a very charismatic friendly and fun man! On the way he was sharing many facts and history about Malaysia but also amazing stories from his personal live. During one trip you visit Budda temple, Malay villages,... More

Sg.Chiling Waterfall trekking is experiential learning at its finest,a kind of romantic adventure with nature, made more memorable with having to traverse the river five times before reaching the magnificent waterfalls. Best part is you forget time as you become engrossed with Happy Yen's running commentary on the flora and fauna of the area, as he constantly reminds us of our... More

We did this tour last September after someone strongly recommended it to us. We weren't disappointed at all! This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Malaysia! A very personal tour with a great guide. It's not just seeing things like other tours; Happy also tells anecdotes, stories from Malaysia, takes you to try local food, etc. It felt... More

At first, everything was good but jungle trekking part was too bad for me, maybe cause of rain but anyway it was a valuable experience there. Those who like jungle trekking will have some fun but not for me. I felt sick after this trip.

Such a surreal experience and many times my husband and I looked at each other with "can you believe we are here" walking through the rainforest/jungle crossing rapid rivers and arriving to the waterfall to share lunch with some great people on the tour. Such a unreal experience and one we will hold in our memories as a treasured moment... More

We just wanted to do a one-day trip into the jungle and came across happy yen´s flyer. It just sounded interesting and was also the best value for money daytrip around all the trip offers. Afterwards, we can fully recommend to join this rainforest tour! You can feel absolutely secure all the time, even while you are walking through the... More

After reading the reviews on trip adviser i decided this trip was a must do for my wife and I. Trip started well with pick-up on time and breakfast in local restaurant. Visit to temple and eventually rain-forest walk followed by dinner at local Chinese restaurant and transfer back to hotel. It poured down with torrential rain during our trek... More
