Having multiple ethnicities where you live gives you great chance to be apart of so many celebrations. And with all these celebrations there is always a meal. So you see, us Malaysians take our food very seriously.Join Food Tour Malaysia Food in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur is unique. Some dishes here you will not be able to find in other parts of the country, and if you do, chances are that they probably could trace their roots to these 2 cities. Penang being the only other exception. The daily ritual of eating communally is one of the most endearing of Malaysian experiences. It is warm, and it’s at the dinner table where you get to really understand and get the authentic ‘feel’, the heartbeat of the Malaysian community. « less

We had a great time with our guide Charles and with a large group, 6 in total with a variety of backgrounds - Thai, British and Canadian he did very well to entertain as well as give us some history alon the way. The food at all our many stops was great and I will be on the search for... More

After being recommended by a friend, on a short stopover in KL we were lucky enough to score a foodie tour with Charles. Myself, my partner and Charles had a great evening together - being vegetarian was no problem, and the range of stops and tastes was fabulous. Organising the evening and meeting up was easy, and we were kindly... More

This tour is a fascinating insight into KL's diverse and off the beaten track culinary delights. It seriously can not be missed on your trip to KL. Our guide Darren was an expert on food and also all things around the city. Definitely recommended by us and we will do it again next time we visit KL. More

Our food tour with Farah was a night to remember. We booked only a few days before and were glad we did. The journey by train to the pick up point was easy. The tour took in Chinese, Malaysian and Indian food with choices that we would not have ordered if we were on our own. Eating in local restaurants... More

As a solo traveller who's not too brave when it comes to trying new foods I thought I'd give the food tour a go and it was great. Getting to the meeting place was easy by train then we spent the next few hours with Farah who took us to different places to experience the foods of the 3 main... More

Again, nothing but positive feedback from us. We were picked up by Charles from Taman Paramount train station and whisked around the suburbs for more local food than we could even think about finishing! He was a great guide, took us to some interesting places and sorted some excellent food for us. The next time I visit KL, I'll be... More

My husband and I have just visited Malaysia for the first time and loved every minute. One of the highlights of the trip was the amazing food tour with Charles. We caught the train to the meeting point at Tamin Paramount a trip of about 40mins from the city centre. The train system is easy to use and very clean... More

If you go to KL, you MUST do this tour - Charles was awesome and took us to some amazing places for food. Also showed us what to do and where to go for the rest of our tour. Thanks so much Charlie, worth every cent! :) More

For the entire tour, I felt like my friend had picked me up from the station and took us out for dinner after dinner, then dessert after dessert. I feel full just thinking about this tour. You must get yourself to taman paramount station, which is quite easy, costs about 1 usd, and took us 40 minutes from downtown. Then... More

I should have done this tour at my first day in KL: beside knowing new people and sharing knowledge, you can get many interesting info and tips about food in Malaysia and KL city life. Getting to the meeting point (7pm) takes around 25 mins from city center by lrt. cabs are useless due to traffic jam (unless you take... More
