These places bring out my inner geek. I was travelling on my own but noticed that the children who attended seemed to really enjoy the place. Older teenagers may find it a bit boring. I enjoyed the effort that have gone into some of the displays. Highly recommended.

It is a very good place to learn about the development of trains in Japan. Very good display of the trains. The model trains are captivating. Must see for kids.

I thought this was interesting to see old trains and the new trains they are trialling ideas on. most of the displays do have english on the boards as well. its also right next to bentencho station.

I love trains and came here to see what the museum is about..alot of young couples with children so felt out of place..displays are nice but not alot of English if any to explain..also saw displays about planes and cars..to get here. take the Osaka Loop to Betencho..station..

It was average - not super fantastic but if you have nothing else to do, then this is a good way to spend a wet afternoon like we did. Kids did not complain and went round the whole place, playing and exploring.

a well preserved collection of mostly train related items including locomotives and rolling stock but loads of unsupervised small children running about everywhere.
