We took a night bus , Nangkai, from Osaka to Nagano, reached Yudanaka Station 8 hours later. The bus was comfortable and it was a smooth journey as bus operator provide blanket and sandal.Yudanaka is reachable by train too.

Bring lots of Yen, the whole place doesn't take credit card at all. But overall, it's very nice place to ski, quiet. Japanese are polite and quiet people, and always bowing all the time. I love Japan. Such fine and powdery snow!

If you looking for size and great views, Shiga Kogen is the one to head for. There're so many ski fields linked together that we could not finish exploring all of it over the course of 4 days!!! However, that's basically all there is to do as there're nothing much else other than ski, or snowboard.
