My wife and I went and really enjoyed it, but you need to read up on it beforehand. There is very little in English but the area is very nice and definitely worth a visit.

This is the second time my family and I have visited this historic site. Now there is an electronic audio tour [which we didn't use: it didn't fit in with our schedule and to be honest we found the prices and rules for it quite unclear]. A good place to start with if you want to introduce a bit of Chinese history to your lids or friends. Colourful characters and a passionate story, delineated in words and pictures, make it a good place to visit with your kids or with your friends from the West. Eateries, hotel and shops nearby, so good location.
